What is technical SEO and how does it differ from SEO content?

Technical SEO is the work of making sure Google can reach your pages at all, read them and understand them, while SEO content is about what you write and which terms you target. The technical side covers load speed, indexing, URL structure, canonical tags, structured data and multilingual tags, and all of it is handled in the code. The content side covers keyword research, writing and link building. We do the technical half; the content half is run by Neviox Marketing, our sister brand.

How far will we climb on Google?

Accepted Answer

We cannot promise a position and nobody can, because rankings are decided by Google's algorithm rather than by a contractor. What we can do is fix the things measurably holding you back and show that in numbers: pages that were not indexed, load times, errors in structured data, URLs competing with themselves. If your problem is technical, the movement shows. If the problem is that competitors have stronger content and more links, technical work will not make that up, and we will tell you so.

Our content is good and we still do not rank. Why?

Usually because Google does not see part of that content the way you assume it does. Typical causes are pages not in the index, several URLs with near-identical content diluting each other, content that only loads after JavaScript runs, or canonical tags pointing at the wrong page. None of that is visible in a browser; it shows in Search Console and in how the page behaves when fetched. The first step is establishing how many of your pages are indexed at all, because without that you are guessing.

How quickly does Google see changes?

Accepted Answer

A technical change becomes visible when Google recrawls the page, and that is not the same day for every page. A home page and frequently updated pages are usually revisited quickly, while rarely visited pages can wait weeks. It can be nudged with a sitemap and by submitting individual URLs for inspection, but that is not a switch. More importantly: a change in the index and a change in position are not the same thing, because position is measured against competitors who are also moving.

Do we need a new site, or can this be fixed on the current one?

Accepted Answer

Very often it can be fixed, and that is the cheaper route. Speed, structured data, canonical tags, sitemaps and redirects are all handled on the existing platform when it allows them. A rebuild becomes reasonable when the platform prevents the basics, for example when you cannot control URLs, when content cannot be served without executing scripts, or when the theme is so heavy that speed cannot be fixed without replacing it. We establish which of those two situations you are in first.

What are Core Web Vitals, and how much do they affect ranking?

They are Google's measures of user experience: how fast the main content appears, how quickly the page responds to a tap or click, and how much content shifts while loading. They do influence ranking, but less than the industry sells: they separate two pages with similar content, they do not compensate for weaker content. Their real value is in conversion, because a visitor who waits leaves. We measure them from field data on real users rather than from a lab test alone.

Do you do link building?

Accepted Answer

No, and that is a deliberate boundary. Link building, guest articles and media outreach are marketing work with a different rhythm and a different risk profile, and they are run by Neviox Marketing. We do the work that lives in the code and the structure of the site. If you need both sides we can run in parallel, but we will not sell you links as part of a technical engagement just to make the quote look more complete.

How will we know whether your work succeeded?

Accepted Answer

We record the baseline before starting and agree what we are watching, so there is no argument afterwards. Specifically: the number of indexed pages, impressions and clicks in Search Console by page group, field Core Web Vitals, and the count of technical errors that were present. Those are the measures technical work genuinely moves. What we will not claim is that traffic growth was entirely down to us, because your content and your competitors change over the same period.

Will AI search bring us traffic?

Accepted Answer

Some, but with fewer clicks than classic search, and that is worth saying plainly. Google is explicit that there is no special optimisation or special markup for AI experiences: the requirement is being indexed and meeting the ordinary guidelines. What helps such systems cite you is having the answer in the first one or two sentences, making each claim self-contained and checkable, and being clear about who you are. That is the same work as good SEO, just done deliberately.

What is structured data, and do we need it?

It is markup in the code that tells a search engine what each thing on the page is: a service, an article, a frequently asked question, an organisation or a product. It does not raise a position by itself, but it enables richer results and helps systems resolve you correctly as an entity. The condition is that what is marked up matches what a visitor actually sees on the page, because marking up content that is not there earns a penalty rather than an advantage.

We have thousands of pages and Google indexes only some. Why?

Accepted Answer

Because Google does not index everything it finds, it selects, and the most common reason for that selection is pages being too similar to one another. That typically happens with filters and sorting producing endless URL combinations, product variants without a canonical tag, and template-generated pages with no real difference in content. The fix is not to demand indexing of everything but to reduce the number of near-identical pages and make clear which one is primary. Search Console reports the reason by group, so this does not have to be guesswork.

Do you do SEO for multilingual sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and this is where most mistakes happen. Each language version needs its own URL, reciprocal tags stating which version serves which market and language, and its own canonical tag, otherwise a search engine picks one version and ignores the rest. A frequent error is redirecting visitors automatically by country, because the crawler then also lands on one version and never sees the others. If you run several languages and markets, that is the first thing we check.
